Mongoose forged itself to become a leader in car alarms and the first company in Australia to produce products certified to the first Australian Car Alarm Standard in the early 90's. Mongoose is an innovative company and was the first company to develop the automatic engine immobiliser which was subsequently installed as standard equipment in Holden cars from 1991. The engine immobiliser is now standard equipment in all of its car alarms and vehicle security systems and is now the main theft deterrent in the joint Australia and New Zealand Standards. We are constantly researching ways to improve levels of safety & security with the latest being the GPS Trackers and CanBus alarm systems.
