There is no software to install on your computer - just use our
M-Trak server.
M-TRAK can be accessed through any internet ready PC,
tablet or smartphone. You control your vehicles reported locations
with simple text messages. M-Trak records and preserves the
travel history for you to download and produce electronic or
printed reports. Customers who have chosen the M-Trak option when
they purchased their Mongoose GPS tracker just need a user name and
password to access live and historical data.
MAPPING - LIVE AND HISTORICAL
The M-Trak website contains accurate maps to show the latest
reported location of your vehicle(s) or the vehicles previous
travel history.
With 'live view', all your vehicles registered to the website
are shown at the same time for their last reported GPS
position.
In 'history view', vehicles are shown individually and when a
particular day is chosen, a red line showing the route taken is
drawn on the map. This can reveal if routes driven are efficient
and exactly where and when and at what speed they have been !
SMS COMMANDS - VT404
The simplicity of M-Trak and Mongoose VT404 GPS trackers is the
flexibility of how often the GPS location is reported and when to
update the website database. You control this with simple text
messages to the tracker(s) from your mobile phone. You therefore
control the SIM card charges of sending data to the website.
GPRS COMMANDS - VT604
The VT604 is controlled directly from the M-TRAK website. No SMS
text messages, all via very cost effective GPRS.
COSTS
Very reasonable annual access fees apply to your website
account which gives yo 24/7 access with no upload or download
limits.
A GSM SIM card with a data/text contract is required for each
tracker. Usage charges are in addition to the webserver access
fees. Enquire at your GSM mobile dealer for a data/text
contract.
