are found almost instantly by GPS. The Mongoose PT301 works just

How do I track it ?
Just make a phone call or send a text mesage to the tracker from
your own mobilephone. The tracker replies by SMS text
message with its location in latitude and longitude. Then,
just go to any computer or mobile phone capable of Google
or other mapping programmes to show the location.
You can even programme the tracker with a simple text message to
automatically send you locations at whatever frequency you
want.

SOS: Pressing the SOS button causes the tracker
to make a phone call to the pre-programmed numbers. the
tracker is then a 2 way mobile phone - use it for
emergencies so assistance can be summoned, or simply to talk
! It also sends its GPS location by text message so
exact location is known.
Any pre-programmed 'user' can make a phone call to the GPS
tracker to talk to the person with it. It rings like an old
phone & vibrates like a normal mobile phone. If it is not
answered within 10 rings, it automatically connects so you can hear
what is happening around the tracker (covert listening). You never
know, but the person with the tracker may not be able to
answer.
The only costs are the purchase
price - a Vodafone SIM card (PrePay recommended) and SIM card
charges. There are no other costs other than an annual Vodafone
re-charge !
