There are 2 versions:- 
The M18 offers
hands-free control of your vehicles locking and unlocking. It can
also be used for other non-vehicle hands free operations such
as automatic door opening in hospitals, factories, entrances
etc.
The M18B includes
an engine immobiliser and alarm functions with its supplied siren
and single stage impact sensor.
The Mongoose
M18 EZ-GO models are fully automatic for
locking and unlocking when you walk to and from your
vehicle.
The system will automatically
lock all the doors, and on the M18B version, arm the alarm and
immobilise the engine when your handset is out of reception range -
typically 2~4 metres.
When you walk back towards your
vehicle and come into the reception range, the doors will
automatically unlock and the B version will disarm the
alarm - however, the engine remains immobilised until you are
ready to start the engine. It will not start if the handset is not
present.
